报告摘要:

Generic non-expanding horizons (NEH) have local degrees of freedom even after imposing the Einstein equations. The same is true for the black hole holograph. On the other hand, horizons formed in physical black hole spacetimes are much more specific, typically parametrized by a few parameters. What are geometric properties that distinguish those physical horizons? We find the answer for extreme Killing horizons and for the Petrov type D non-extreme Killing horizons. The geometries of those horizons satisfy special equations: the near horizon geometry equation, the second equation of extreme IHs, the Petrov type D equation. The equations have properties of no-hair and rigidity, imply the spherical topology of horizon sections. The type D equation can be generalized to horizons that are the Hopf or other non-trivial fibration. In that case, our surprising results suggest the existence of a new class of NUT like black holes.

报告人简介:

Lewandowski教授是波兰籍理论和数学物理学家,1987年在波兰华沙大学获博士学位,现任华沙大学物金沙城娱乐场官网平台教授、相对论和引力理论系主任、北京师范大学物理系高端外国专家访问学者,曾任波兰引力与相对论学会主席。他在广义相对论和量子引力,特别是圈量子引力领域,作出了很多有重要影响的开创性的研究工作,作为圈量子引力的重要基石的运动学Hilbert空间的测度被国际同行公称为:Ashtekar-Lewandowski测度,他与Ashtekar合作在Classical and Quantum Gravity上发表的综述论文“Background Independent Quantum Gravity: A Status Report”是该领域有重要影响的经典之作。
